fter the final specifications are agreed upon, the design phase begins. The experienced craftsmen in the company choose the various materials, and decisions regarding the final case design, the scaling and construction of the pipe-work, the action design and the other mechanical parts are made. With drawings in hand, Patrick Spiesser, a Master Organbuilder from France creates the lists of parts, determines the material needs and works with the craftsmen to begin the construction of the organ. At this phase, it is normal to make minor changes in the specification and physical design. Organbuilding is a learning process and each instrument has its own character. The evolution from the first specifications and dreams to the completed organ is a complex and lengthy process.
